Network Tokens announced at IETF meeting.
July 27, 2020
Today we announced network tokens at IETF's 108 meeting and published the first open specification as an IETF draft. Network tokens provide an open and secure method for end users and application providers to coordinate with the network about how their traffic is treated ( e.g., to access a 5G slice, a firewall allowlist or a zero-rating service ).

Network tokens aim to replace complex, insecure, and privacy-invasive application signatures with a deterministic mechanism to build network services.
